SvachitJobs

Frequently asked questions

Answers for candidates and employers about how SvachitJobs works today — profiles, visibility, verification, and applying.

General

Where does SvachitJobs operate?

Eastern India, starting with Odisha. Locations are modelled as State → District → City → Industrial Cluster, so search understands industrial hubs like Jajpur, Angul, and Jharsuguda rather than treating everything as one city name.

Do employers get verified?

Yes. An employer submits their company details, GSTIN and PAN, and KYC documents, and an administrator reviews them. Until that review passes, the account cannot post a job or search candidates.

Can I control who sees my profile?

Yes. Every candidate profile has a visibility setting: Open (verified employers can see your full profile), Limited (employers see a masked summary and must request access, which you approve), or Private (you don't appear in employer search at all — you can still apply to jobs yourself).

Why does the profile ask for so many structured fields?

Because they're what makes you findable. Industry, function, skills, experience, and location are the fields employers actually filter on. A CV is attached as supporting documentation, not used as the primary record.

Do I need a CV to create a profile?

No. You can fill in your profile directly. If you do upload a CV, it can pre-fill parts of your profile for you to review and confirm — nothing is saved from it without your confirmation.

How do employers find candidates?

Verified employers can search the candidate pool by function, industry, location, experience, and other structured fields, alongside receiving applications to jobs they've posted.

Who builds SvachitJobs?

SvachitJobs is developed by Odizo, building tools for how hiring actually works in Eastern India's industrial workforce.

Do I need a CV to create a profile?

No. You can fill in your profile directly. If you do upload a CV, it can pre-fill parts of your profile for you to review and confirm — nothing is saved from it without your confirmation.

What's the difference between Open, Limited, and Private visibility?

Open means verified employers can find and view your full profile in search. Limited means employers see a masked summary and must request access, which you personally approve or decline. Private means you don't appear in employer search at all — you can still apply to jobs yourself in any of the three states.

Is it free for candidates?

Yes. Creating a profile, searching jobs, and applying are all free for candidates.

How do I know an employer is legitimate?

Every employer on SvachitJobs goes through the same verification process before they can post a job or search candidates — GSTIN, PAN, and KYC document review by an administrator. Verified employers carry a visible badge.

For employers

What does verification actually check?

Your company details, GSTIN, PAN, and supporting KYC documents, reviewed by a SvachitJobs administrator. You can't post a job or search candidates until that review passes.

What happens if my verification is rejected?

You'll see the reviewer's notes and can resubmit your documents — a rejection resets your verification to pending review once you resubmit, it doesn't lock your account.

How much does it cost?

Pricing hasn't been decided. SvachitJobs is free to use while we onboard our first employers — get in touch and we'll work it out together as a founding employer, before any pricing is set.

Can I search candidates who haven't applied to any of my jobs?

Yes, once your account is verified. Candidates set their own visibility — Open profiles are fully visible in search, Limited profiles require the candidate's approval before you can view them, and Private profiles never appear in search at all.
